Full of character
An oakwood floor is a natural product, robust and full of character. Character floor lives and gives a home atmosphere. These wood floors are built up of several layers: a base of two layers of poplar/birchwood with 4 mm of oak on top. Thanks to this structure, the plank is more stable and it ´works´ less.
Rustic oak engineered flooring
The Character floors have a top layer of rustic oak. This quality is recognisable by the presence of knots and a certain colour difference for a lively, distinctive floor. The surface is ready-to-install finished with oil or lacquer in various colours, so the floor no longer has to be treated after laying. Untreated oak is also available, in which case you can finish the floor yourself in the desired colour.The Character Floor panels have a V-groove on the long sides. The floor is preferably laid floating by gluing the boards in the tongue and groove connection. To limit walking noise, it is recommended to use a sound-damping subfloor. Lamella parquet can be laid on underfloor heating, provided that this is set at a maximum of 27°C and has the same temperature day and night.
